Uncle Ed, I will never forget your love for family. Your kindness, generosity, and love for children will never be forgotten. You were my best customer in every school fundraiser I ever had. You always took me to the top! Your sense of humor, corny jokes, and contagious smile always made me laugh. I will hold so many wonderful memories of you in my heart.
I came across a quote that I thought perfectly portrayed you. Rest in peace Uncle Eddie. We will miss you.
“Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.”

Gregg,
Although this is a very tough time to go through, I have found peace in my life by remembering the good times. In time the pain fades but the good memories remain. If there is ever a need to talk, I will always be there for you. I owe you so much and I cherish our friendship. My wish is that the Good Lord gives you the strength you need. God Bless You 🙏🏽🇺🇸

Brother Eddie, you have always been the bright light in the Ellis family. Your many qualities quickly found their way into the soft spit of my heart. You easily touched all six of our kids. Eddie, our son Edward who is named after you, especially loved praying for you over the decades. Missing you is being replaced by remembering so very many stories about your love, generosity and enjoyment as each day as it came.
