Charles Joseph “Charlie” Pita, Jr., age 51, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Born in Ashland, PA on January 30, 1971, he was a son of Charles Joseph Pita, Sr. and the late Annette V. (Kinger) Pita. Charlie attended William Penn High School. He worked as a laborer for various companies.

Charlie loved the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman and enjoyed four-wheeling with his father and brother in the coal banks near Marion Heights, PA. He was also a talented cook and delighted in feeding his family and friends a good meal. Charlie will always be remembered for his generous spirit and his love of helping others. A devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Charlie will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know him.

In addition to his mother, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Jason R. Pita. He is survived by his father, Charles J. Pita, Sr.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

All services will be held privately.
