Crystal Marie Jewell
November 29, 1982 - December 26, 2022
Crystal Marie Jewell, age 40, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022.
Born on November 29, 1982, she was a daughter of the late David Cox and Diane Jewell. Crystal made her career as a dedicated bookkeeper for Bumpers and Company for 21 years.
The most important thing to Crystal was time spent with her loved ones. Going out to dinner with friends and family was always on the top of her to do list, but you better not try to pay the bill, which goes to show her generosity. Crystal was always willing to help those in need no matter if she had the extra or not, she would give. She was a constant over tipper, delivery drivers and servers always loved her. Crystal always took care of others needs over her own. She loved Disney, her favorite was Beauty and the Beast. Crystal enjoyed going to the movies, camping, and the beach. She was a devoted Phillies fan and of course Zach Eartz, Jason Kelce, Brian Dawkins and all of the Philadelphia Eagles. Crystal absolutely hated the Dallas Cowboys. She was an avid Post Malone fan along with all other music. Crystal would be the first person on any dance floor doing the cupid shuffle or the wobble or singing on the karaoke microphone.
Crystal is survived by her husband, David A. Truselo; children, Nathan, Kyle, Jordan, Conner, Briella, and Brennen; siblings, Shaun Cox (Tasha) and Nicole McConnell (Stephen); cousin who was like a sister, Jen Berti; and an extended family of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 525 Polly Drummond Hill Road, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Crystal’s memory maybe made to a gofundme that has been set up to help the family offset funeral costs by clicking here.

I still cannot seem to come up with the words to express what an amazing soul Crystal had. Not only did I have the pleasure of calling Crystal my friend for the last 10 to 12 years, but I also was able to call her a co-worker, my rock when times were rough, and my ride or die. She was an absolute Angel on Earth, so I know she is now in a place with the Lord, where her wings can be spread to the fullest. Please continue to watch over all of us who loved you in spirit, as you did when you were physically here with us. I promise to always carry your love with me and to never let this world forget you! Until we meet again girl… I love you to the moon and back 💛.

My heart breaks for you and your family. I miss you and wish there was more time to make up for time missed. I have memories of fun times with the boys, and our mutual friends having a good time laughing and just being together. I hope you are at peace. You have so many people that love and miss you.
