Cynthia J. Hunt

Cynthia J. Hunt, age 73, of Dover, DE, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Born in Washington, D.C. on June 19, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Monte and Barbara (Penrod) Banning. Cynthia made her career as a registered nurse in home healthcare.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by her brother, Monte Banning III. She is survived by her children, Andrew Hunt (Jessica) and Matthew Hunt (Kimberly); niece, Lindsay Brown; grandchildren, Dayson, Ayla, and Alexis; sisters, Pamela Banning and Sandra Leckie (Alan); and nieces and nephew, Heather Leckie, Melissa Leckie, Alan Leckie, Jr. (Kendall), Sara Leckie, and Jennifer Lloyd (Tommy).

A graveside service for family and friends will begin at 11 am on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in Old Drawyers Cemetery, 2839 DuPont Highway, Middletown, DE.
