David Carl Fulk
June 5, 1948 - March 2, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Carl Fulk, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born on June 5, 1948, David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He shared a beautiful marriage with his beloved wife, Roberta, for 50 years, having first met at Gino’s. Their enduring love and commitment to each other inspired all who knew them.
David took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Frank) and Christina, and his cherished grandchildren, Jessica (Anthony), Gabriella, Madison, and John. Most recently, his greatest joy was found in his great-granddaughter, Elliana, who held a special place in his heart. His love for her was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with her. Dave was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his second great-grandchild, Trey.
A skilled electrician, David was known for his exceptional talent in fixing things and his readiness to assist others. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whether it was a neighbor, friend, or family member. His generosity and willingness to assist others reflected his kind and selfless nature. After dedicating 12 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service, he embraced retirement, cherishing time spent with family and friends.
David’s passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of love, service, and kindness will endure in the lives he touched.
In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, David is survived by his sister, Donna (David); brother, Steven (Gayle); and sister, Beth.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service to celebrate David’s life will begin at 12 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in David’s memory to Renee’s Rescues, P.O. Box 1297, Hockessin, DE 19707 or online by clicking here.
As we bid farewell, we take comfort in the knowledge that David is at peace, and his love will continue to guide us. Rest in peace, David. You will forever be missed, and your memory will remain in our hearts always.
