Dennis Michael Ludwig, Sr., age 85, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025.
Born in Trenton, NJ on April 25, 1940, he was a son of the late Anthony and Julia (Bonski) Ludwig, Sr. Dennis dedicated his career to Hercules, where he devoted 20+ years of service.
Dennis had a passion for playing the saxophone and loved dancing. He and his wife, Charlotte enjoyed their 25+ years living in Florida and loved traveling together on cruises.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Charlotte Parzyck Ludwig; their children, Denise Cole, Doreen Montero, Lisa Ludwig (Eric Miller), Dennis Ludwig Jr. (Karen Conicelli), and Michael Ludwig (Candida); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Claire Boudwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Doris Williams, Stanley Ludwig Sr., Anthony Ludwig Jr., Francis Ludwig, Constance Ludwig, and Rita Wade.
All services will be held privately.
