Diana Marie Harvie, age 71, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at home.
Born in Martinsville, WV on November 7, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Harold E. Decker, Sr. and Mary Frances (Kenney) Graybeal. Diana was a team leader at GM for 30 years until her retirement.
Survived by sons, Rudolph R. Thompson III (Emily) and Kevin Harvie “Rusty”; stepdaughters, Tanya Thompson and Trudy Buchanan (James); grandchildren, Alyssa, Kayleigh, Josh, Kai, and Zavier; siblings, Barbara Mikulcik (John) and Harold E. Decker, Jr. “Bucky” (Teri); and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Graybeal; and sisters, Bonnie Decker, Debra Miller “Debbie”, and Cathy Shirley.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will be held privately.
