Diane Marie (Gary) Henderson, age 69, of Newark, Delaware, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, on June 6, 1954, Diane was a daughter of the late Richard R. and Rose Marie (Blunt) Gary, Jr.

Diane made a lifetime career as an office manager for the State of Delaware (DSCYF).  She enjoyed her summers by her pool with her family.  She loved Florida, her gardening, and the beach.  Diane loved most spending time with her grandchildren and family.  She touched the hearts of many and will be missed sorely.

Diane is survived by her husband, Michael J. Henderson; sister, Patricia A. Downs (Larry); sister-in-law, Sue Ellen Hicks (Jeff); brother-in-law, Jeffrey Henderson; daughters, Victoria DiSabatino, Tracy Ingram (Ronnie), Jacquelyn Lloyd; grandchildren, Richard Gary Lloyd (Heather), Alexis DiSabatino, Karlie Bohn, Lauren Sauscermen, Logan Sauscermen, Dominic DiSabatino, Marissa DiSabatino, Anthony Fauls; one great-grandson, Malikai Lloyd; and niece, Theresa Day (Joe).

A visitation for family and friends will be held at 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Spicer Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
