Donald Wayne Figgatt

Donald Wayne Figgatt, age 74, of Alberta, VA, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Born in Beckley, WV on December 1, 1949, he was a son of the late Harold Lee and Doris Aileen (Combs) Figgatt. Donald made his career as an equipment operator.
Donald had a passion for classic cars. He always looked forward to vacationing with his family at the beach.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his grandson, Donovan Kendus; and brothers, Keith Figgatt and Ronnie Figgatt. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Josephine “Mary Jo” Figgatt; children, April Renn (Dave), Brian Figgatt (Shante), and Karen Figgatt-Kendus; grandchildren, Justin Figgatt, Matthew Renn, Logan Renn, Bella Renn, Josie Figgatt, Harrison Figgatt, Beau Figgatt, Jo Bailey Figgatt, and Skylar Kendus; great-grandchildren, Brynleigh Figgatt and Luca Neary; sister, Carol Sue Tjaden; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Entombment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
