Donna Lee Henderson, age 62, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 15, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Donald R. Schnee and Jenelee Pierce. Donna excelled as a certified registered nurse for various personal homecare providers. She had a heart for helping people, be it a stranger or longtime friend. Donna loved all species of turtles and enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida, where she previously resided. She delighted in watching soap operas, Days of Our Lives being her favorite. Most of all, Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her compassionate care of others, kindness, and free-spirited nature.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, William “Billie” Wesley Hall and granddaughter, Leea Adams. She is survived by her beloved husband, Matthew Henderson and her precious dog, Maggie; children, Richard Lancour (Crystal), Jenelee Gibson, Travis Schnee, and Joshua Schnee; step-children, Matthew Henderson, Jr. (Kathleen) and Heather Henderson (Aaron Adams); brothers, John Schnee and Donald Schnee III; and grandchildren, Thomas Lancour, Andrew “AJ” Lancour, Sierra Gibson, Madison Gibson, Matthew Henderson, McKenzie Henderson, A.J. Adams, and Aarik Adams.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 pm until 5 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, followed by a funeral service at 5 pm. Face masks will be required for all in attendance. Interment will be held privately.

All those years we lost touch with each other, you never changed…you were always worried about everyone else ,even though you had your own problems. I will definitely miss coming over for coffee, ordering lunch with you and having dinner with you and Matt. You were a great friend and I love you. I miss you lots and I know you are looking down on us with comments that only YOU would say.
