Doris Mae Van Blarcom, age 92, of Bear, DE, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Born in Greenwood, DE on May 21, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Ward and Evelyn (Hood) Messick. • Aunt Doris will truly be missed. I had the privilege of working alongside her for over 40 years at Earle’s Tire Sales, where she and Uncle Earle Sr. built a thriving, honest business through decades of dedication and hard work. They poured their hearts into it, and I believe that’s what they both genuinely loved doing—right up to their final days.
