Dorothy “Dottie” (Kinsella/Camp/D’Antonio) Verbanas

Dorothy “Dottie” (Kinsella/Camp/D’Antonio) Verbanas, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the age 86. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kinsella; and husband, Tony D’Antonio (who was such a gift in her life).

Dottie is survived by her four children: daughters, Kathy Camp and Tammy O’Connell, and sons, William Camp and Richard Verbanas; daughters-in-law, Leslie Camp and Megan Brocail; six grandchildren: Casey Camp, Rion Evans and Hunter O’Connell and Diana Danyan, and Hayden and Selina Verbanas; two great-grandchildren: Leah and Syrus Norwood; sisters, Lorraine Grier and Maureen Lane; brother, John Kinsella and wife, Jan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will be held privately.

  • Dottie and Family = new you very well = we played sports , were cheerleaders together in Girls Leader Corps and many other things together at William Penn School Class of 1957, may you now be at peace in your life and your family has great memories of you- I still can see you, as the bus monitor of the bus I caught in Wilmington Manor Gardens-our years together as cheerleaders our trip to Washington DC I could write a book!
