Dorothy M. Winters

Dorothy M. Winters, age 95, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Kentmere Nursing Home, where she resided.
Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 15, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Bowman) Winters.
A woman of strong faith, she was a long time parishioner of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Darby, PA. Dorothy loved reading and had a beautiful singing voice. She will be lovingly remembered and very dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Emelia C. Keefe, Edward Winters, and Francis Winters. Dorothy is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA, will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
