Maryland County and probably the entire Southeast will forever be grateful to Dr. Charles B. Cooper and his wife, Dr. Regina Cooper for their service to humanity through the medical services they both rendered at JJ. Dossen Memorial Hospital in Harper, Maryland County, when they returned home in 1974 until his retirement.
Deepest sympathy to the entire Cooper family, especially his wife,my mentor, Dr. “RC”. May God receive Papie’s soul and may he rest in peacefully. 93 years of God’s Blessings. You will surely be missed. 😭 🙏🏽

This is so touching, upon hearing of the passing of our committed Dr of the JJ Dossen hospital. Someone who cherished his profession. He rendered his services to mankind. Dr Cooper was known by every marylander, because of his continuous presence in county to serve the needed. Dr. We didn’t have the opportunity to salute you and give you your flowers, but God the omnipotent will surely give you a place in his bossom. Go and take your rest. You will always be remembered.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a giant among giants in the medical community of Liberia. As a girl I remember how my father and other doctors respected your dad’s contribution to the Liberian Medical and Dental Association. May his life and memory give you peace as you move forward.

To my dear friends Regina, Natalie, and family I do not know: With thoughts of you in my heart, I pray for your comfort, understanding and peace as you mourn the passing of your husband/friend, father, grand etc. Life without him will indeed be different and sad. However, blessed are you whose life was enriched beyond words by his presence; and blessed indeed are those for whom he worked – the poor, the sick, the needy, etc. He served always in the name of Jesus and His Blessed Mother with peace, prudence, and patience, never surrendering to weariness, and always with detachment from self.
In the hour of his death, Jesus bid him, “Come to me, Charles, rest now with all the saints and angels, and those loved ones of yours who have entered my kingdom before you.”
Charles answered, “Precious Lord, please care for those loved ones I am leaving. Take my hand, lead me on. I am tired; I am weak; I am worn. Through the storm, through the night, lead me on to the light. Take my hand, precious Lord, lead me home. Thank You.”

My condolences goes out to your family.
As the Mr. Cooper’s side, I became close to Mr. Cooper.
I think about when I first meant Mr. Cooper and he gave me a hard time.
After that we became very close. A lot of times his daughter Natalie told me that the other aides could not get him to do anything, but when I came Mr. Cooper would cheer up.
Mr. Cooper is going to be well missed.
Sleep in peace Mr. Cooper.

My condolences to Aunty Mombo, Dr Regina Cooper and to the entire Cooper family over the home going of Papie, Dr Charles B Cooper. Psalm 34:18 says, The Lord is close to the broken hearted. He saves whose spirits are crushed. When you feel alone, remember God is with you always. In the moments you may not think he’s near, he’s still watching over you all. So take heart God is a Father of compassion and of all comfort. May He comfort you all during this difficult and sad time. The memories created with Papie remains behind to light the lives of those touched. Each memory is a candle burning bright. Rest well Papie. You leave behind not only a remarkable legacy but a community forever shaped by your light.

I remember as a little girl, my Mother took me to his Clinic on Green St, Harper Maryland County, bcuz I could not Sweat 😅. Dr told her to take me home, bcuz I was healthy. I will not smell like many who can Sweat. My Mother wasn’t happy with him, since I did not get a Rx of pills or injection😂. RIPP “Dr C”
