Eda Marie Gentile Ciemania

Eda Marie Gentile Ciemania, age 101, of Coker Creek, TN, passed away at 8:25 A.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at home.

She was known as the “cookie lady” in many places. Eda was active in the Dorcas quilting group at Center Presbyterian Church and the Coker Creek chapter of Quilts for Kids. She loved God, family and friends and always put the needs of others first. Eda was proud of her Italian heritage and treated everyone with love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Francis Ciemania; parents, Anthony Gentile and Pasqua Rose Carota Gentile; brother, Robert Gentile; and grandson, Gregg Ciemania. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Ray McClure; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Cyndie Ciemania; grandchildren, Ross and Daniel McClure and Ian and Joel Ciemania; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Lois Gentile.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
