Edwin A. “Ed” Kwiatkowski

Edwin A. “Ed” Kwiatkowski, age 87, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on June 12, 1934, he was a son of the late Marion and Genevieve (Manista) Kwiatkowski, Sr. Ed proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a graduate of the University of Delaware where he was a member of the basketball team. Ed spent his career as a purchasing agent for the State of Delaware, retiring after many years of service. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles football fan, and enjoyed watching westerns.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Kwiatkowski and Marion Kwiatkowski Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Theresa F. (Maciejeski) Kwiatkowski; daughters, Karen and her husband John Brewington and Michele Bannon; and grandchildren, John Brewington, Jr., Colin Brewington, John E. (Jake) Bannon, and Nicholas (Nikko) Bannon.
All services will be held privately.

Theresa, so sorry to hear about Ed. My heart goes out to you and your family. It’s been a long time since we played on the tennis team and were at work in Newark. My husband, T.C. passed away in May so I know the pain you feel. I will keep you in my prayers.
