Elaine Mary Vadden (nee Hanlon)
Elaine Mary Vadden (nee Hanlon), age 101, entered eternal life peacefully on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026.
Elaine was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Tom Vadden Sr. in 1994. She is survived by her son, Thomas E. Jr. (Cindy) of Bear, their children, Katie, Thomas III and Michael, her step-daughter, Mary Ann Burke of Boise, ID, 6 grandchildren and many other relatives. In addition to her parents, William and Margaret Hanlon of Philadelphia and her eight siblings, she was predeceased by her son, George T. Cummings and step-daughter, Helen P. Calderhead.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 345 Bear-Christiana Road, Bear, DE 19701, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am. Entombment will be private at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington.
