Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Wiggins

Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Wiggins, age 66, of Townsend, DE passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Born in Wilmington, DE on April 29, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John Osbond Faulkner and Doris Veronica (Beatson) Jenkins. Betsy, as she was affectionately known by many, studied cosmetology at Delcastle High School. She made her career as a dedicated youth care specialist supervisor for Ferris School, where she was employed for the past 20 years with many caring co-workers. In her leisure time, she enjoyed caring for horses and loved her pet cats dearly.
She is survived by her husband, John C. Wiggins; her son, Jeffrey L. Gruwell; as well as a host of cousins including Mary Young, whom was also her best friend.
All services will be held privately.
