Elizabeth A. “Betty” Yearsley, age 86, of St. Georges, DE, formally of Frankford, DE, passed away at Christiana Care on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 29, 1935, she was a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Boulden) Patton. Betty retired from the State of Delaware where she was the Middletown High School cafeteria manager.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her late husband of 35 years, Charles S. Yearsley, Jr.; grandson, Charles W. McDowell; 3 sisters; and 1 brother. She is survived by her 4 children, Victor Hall (Iris) of Townsend, Linda Vogel (Tom) of Oceanview, Lois Eisenbrey (Bill) of Milford, and Ronny Hall (Rachel) of Dallas, PA; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many loving family members.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 12 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will be held privately.
