Erika (Meli) Miller

Erika (Meli) Miller, age 45, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
Born in Englewood, NJ on September 27, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Edith (Wunderlich) Meli.
Erika was known for her very colorful personality. She had the most caring heart and always went out of her way to help others in any way that she could. That caring heart also drove her passion for saving animals, especially cats and dogs. Erika was an avid New York Giants fan. More than anything else, she loved being a mother to Donnie, the apple of her eye and what she cherished most in this life.
In addition to her parents, Erika was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald Miller, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Donald Miller III; son, Donald Miller IV; brother, Chris Meli (Jennifer); niece, Nicole Barroso (Adam); nephew, Chris Meli, Jr.; mother-in-law, Connie Miller; sister-in-law, Adele Miller; great-niece, Elana Barroso; and her loved feline friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 1 pm on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Singerly Road, Elkton, MD.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Erika’s memory to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178 or online by clicking here.
