Erin Mary Dager, age 37, of Newark, DE, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Born in Newark, DE on June 27, 1986, she was the daughter of Eve (Bundick) Dager and the late Dennis Mitchell. Erin earned a certificate in the Accelerated Legal class at the University of Delaware in 1 year. Over the years, she also attended Schilling-Douglas School of Hair Design, Wilmington University, and Delaware Technical and Community College for Criminal Justice. Erin enjoyed working as a manager at Grotto Pizza and adored her Grotto team, her unwavering work ethic was extraordinary.

Erin was quite creative and could often be found making beautiful pieces of art. In her spare time, she loved to read. Deep in her faith, Erin was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church in Newark. Above all, she cherished her children and was happiest when she was spending time with them. Erin will always be remembered for having a huge heart and being incredibly compassionate towards those suffering from addiction. Her generosity was unmatched and as an organ donor, saved 3 people’s lives upon her passing.

In addition to her father, Erin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nancy and Charles Bundick; and grandmother, Cornelia Mitchell. She is survived by her children, Jaxson Dager and Levi Dager; mother, Eve Dager; brother, Clint W. Dager (Austin Wipf); her relatives in Texas, including Linda Bundick, North Carolina, Michigan, and Virginia; paternal grandfather, Vernon Mitchell; paternal aunts and uncles, Dwayne Mitchell, Brenda, and Ellen; and fiancé, Ronnie Humm and his family.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Holy Family R.C. Church, 15 Gender Road, Newark, DE. Interment will be held privately.
