Felix Pedrick - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Felix Pedrick

November 25, 1954 - March 22, 2026

Felix Pedrick, age 71 of Middletown, Delaware, slipped peacefully from this world on Sunday, March 22, 2026 surrounded by his family who was the heartbeat of his life.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware on a late autumn day, November 25, 1954 to the late Anna and David Pedrick. Felix was a graduate of William Penn High School. He devoted 47 years of steadfast years to R.J. Peoples, Inc., where his hands and his work left quiet marks of craftsmanship across countless homes and hearts.

For 52 years, Felix walked side by side with his soulmate, Nancy M. (Lightner) Pedrick. A love story woven through decades of laughter, devotion and unshakable companionship. His family was his pride. He cherished his family. The bond he shared with his two sons (and daughter-in-laws) Dustin (Jo Ann) and Scott (Jamie) was strong enough to weather any storm. Felix a.k.a. “Pappy” truly adored his five grandchildren and poured endless joy into the lives of his grandchildren; Luke, Matthew, Luna, Katelyn, and Violet Pedrick. Each one a light he cherished.

Felix’s circle of love extended wide: survived by his siblings, David (Debbie), Peggy (Wallace), Clarence Pedrick, Helena Gillespie (Bill), Dodi Herbert (Dan); Uncles Claude and Frank Mitchell; many cousins, nieces and nephews; siblings-in-law, Bob Lightner (Sue), Joanne O’Neill (Tom), and Donna Fink (Will).

Even his dogs, Mable and Brody, knew the warmth of his gentle spirit, spoiled as all beloved pets should be.

Felix found beauty in the simple rhythms of life: the crack of sporting clays, the quiet ritual of feeding deer and birds, the tug of a fish on the line, the comfort of family gathered close by a campfire, and the familiar hum of a baseball game. Few knew he once played semi-pro baseball, but the ones who did understood how deeply the game lived in him. He was a man who loved the simple pleasures in life.

He was a longtime member of The Jackson Masonic Lodge, carrying its values with quiet dignity.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Spicer Mullikin Funeral Home 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 am, following the visitation, at Saint Joseph Parish, 371 East Main Street, Middletown, DE. Interment will be private.
