Frances Geraldine Driver, age 85, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
Born in Belvidere, NC, on May 28, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Louis R. and Buna A. (Winslow) Stallings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen Driver. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 10:30 am on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.

I am so sorry for your loss. Gerri was a kind and wonderful lady. I met her and William many years ago and she was always very positive and encouraging to everyone she met. She had a great sense of humor and made me smile a lot. Gerri will finally be with William again. Gerri will be be sadly missed.

Geraldine was one of my cousins and we were great childhood friends. We were close in age and really enjoyed each others company. Due to problems with her eyes, she was sent to the North Carolina School for the Blind. When she was home for breaks during the school year, I enjoyed visiting her at her parents home . She would show me how she could write in Braille and I was always fascinated with what she was learning. She was truly a great cousin and friend. My condolences go out to her immediate family.
