Francis C. Solt

Francis C. Solt, age 78, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
Born in Perth Amboy, NJ on February 27, 1945, he was a son of the late Francis C. and Mildred (Fitzgerald) Solt. Francis proudly served in the United States Navy. He later worked as an electrician and project manager for several companies over the years.
A friend to the community, Francis enjoyed being an active member of the Freemasons and served on the board at the Legacy at Odessa National. He was also a member of the IBEW Local #456. In his spare time, Francis could often be found out on the green playing a round of golf.
In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Siegfriedt) Solt. He is survived by his daughter, Carolee Solt; and granddaughter, Kairi Solt.
A committal service will begin at 11 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
