Freddie Louis “Fred” Carnell, Jr.

Freddie Louis “Fred” Carnell, Jr., age 80, of Stewartstown, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Freddie Louis Carnell, Sr. and Alice (Childs) Carnell. Fred was a man of character, he loved helping anyone in need and assisting people better themselves. He inspired and touched so many people. He liked dining out and was a lifetime musician, he could fix or repair anything.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lee (Smith) Carnell. He is survived by his son, Fred Carnell III (Melissa) of Middletown, DE; granddaughters, Erin Carnell of Baltimore, MD, Kayleigh Carnell of Middletown, DE; and special friend and caretaker, Barb Pierce of Baltimore, MD.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE.  Interment will be held privately.
