Gail Richardson Krear

Gail Richardson Krear, age 81, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Born in Little Rock, AR on July 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Ernest and Selmarie (Hart) Richardson. Gail earned her BSA degree in education from the University of Arkansas in 1964 as well as her Master’s degree from George Washington University. She began her teaching career in 1963 in Springdale, AR. Gail later taught in Pine Buff, AR and Fayetteville, AR before coming to Maryland where she taught in Montgomery County public schools until 2001 when she retired. She later worked part time at the Middletown YMCA.

In her spare time, Gail loved to go to the movies. She was a Life Master of Bridge in the America Contract Bridge League. Gail will always be remembered for her nurturing spirit and taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Eason; and daughter, Kari Nichols. She is survived by her loving husband, J. David Krear; grandchildren, Ryder Sydney Krear and Jackie Krear; and her dog companions, Apple and Abner.

Gail’s wishes were to have no formal services.
