Gilbert M. “Gibby” Watts, Jr., age 75, of New Castle, DE, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
Born in Wilmington, DE on November 24, 1949, he was a son of the late Gilbert M. Watts, Sr. and Alice (Francks) Burgos. Gibby made his career with Petrillo Brothers Concrete for 40 years until his retirement in 2012.
Gibby loved his family, hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, Big Foot, and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also a life member of the NRA.
In addition to his parents, Gibby was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela (Pettit) Watts; siblings, Richard, Lawrence, Daniel and Alice; and grandson, Andrew. He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Dixon (Paul), Robin Hanz (Geoff) and Ashley Watts; grandchildren, David, Alexander, Noah, Michael, Parker, Lennon, and Matthew.
All services will be held privately.
