Gladys Virginia Ciskowski

Gladys Virginia Ciskowski, age 79, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Born in Elkton, MD on September 9, 1946, she was a daughter of the late James Henry and Florence May (Rhoades) Biddle. Gladys graduated from Mount Aviat Academy in Childs, MD.  She worked for many years at Brake Parts, Inc. and later worked as a caretaker for the elderly.

Gladys loved spending time with her family and friends and was deeply loved in return.  She treasured her peaceful life at home, which she called her “happy place”, where she enjoyed relaxing and watching her wildlife visitors.

In accordance with Gladys’ wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.  Her family will honor her memory privately.
