Glenn R. Mumford
Glenn R. Mumford, age 63, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, in Lewes, Delaware, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, humor, and a heart that touched everyone who knew him.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware to Robert and Rosemary (Vickers) Mumford, Glenn grew up with a strong work ethic and an even stronger personality—one that could fill any room with laughter.
Glenn spent his life mastering his craft. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Greggo & Ferrera, a concrete finisher at Mumford and Miller Inc., and later as a foreman at George & Lynch. No matter the job, Glenn gave it everything he had. His coworkers knew him as someone who could be counted on, someone who worked hard, joked harder, and made even the toughest days a little lighter.
To know Glenn was truly to love him. He was a natural jokester, always ready with a quick remark or a story that left everyone smiling. Sitting still was never in his nature—he was always on the move, cleaning something, detailing his cars until they shined, or power washing anything that stood still long enough. His energy was endless, and his presence unforgettable.
Glenn is survived by his beloved daughter, Kristin Rullo of Elkton, MD; and 2 cherished sons, Glenn Woodall of Georgetown, DE; and Hunter Barton of Camden, DE. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, whom he fiercely loved—Timothy, Adam, Braxton, Mark, Glennie, and babies Camden Rullo and Faith Barton—and his great-grandson, Jayden. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit, humor, and love.
Glenn’s life was full—full of laughter, full of motion, and full of love. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to share in his journey.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glenn’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Please accept my heart felt condolences, Glenn and I spent a lot of good times playing in the pit behind his house as kids. Over the years we would run into each other, and it was like only a day had went by sense we last talked. He will be missed.
