Gloria Christina Gladsky

Gloria Christina Gladsky, age 91, of York, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Born in Moosic, PA on November 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel (Hollenback) Bender.  Gloria was an activity therapist for Delaware State Hospital until her retirement in 1990, and she also worked part-time for H&R Block since 1987.  She resided in Delaware from 1950 to 2007 and then became a resident of Dover, Pa and York, Pa.  Active in her faith, Gloria was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dover, Pa and a previous member of Pencader Presbyterian Church in Glasgow, DE.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her daughters, Sandra Emory and Diana Bonneville; son, David Hafler; and grandson, Stephen Bonneville. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Ann Livingston (husband Rick); grandchildren, Christina Scott, Michael Glatfelter, Shane Glatfelter, Lisa Rinehart, and David Hafler; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11 am on Monday, June 3, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, Delaware, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
