Glynn Dale Hicks, age 66, of Wilmington, DE, passed on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on September 5, 1955, he was a son of the late Hubert Gordon and Lillian Charlotte (Blevins) Hicks. Glynn was a loving father who enjoyed raising his children, always putting his family first before anything else.
Glynn was an outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He also loved everything about Christmas and was a great cook. Glynn had a great sense of humor and was a selfless person. He was very giving even when he had little to give.
In addition to his parents, Glynn was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Theresa “Teri” Hamill; son, Tommy Hicks; 5 brothers; and 2 sisters. He is survived by his children, Timmy Hicks, Christa Hicks, Alexis Hicks, Jessica Hicks, Tessa Hicks; sister, Linda Kenyon; brother, Alvin Hicks; 16 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
All services will be held privately.

I have so many great memories of Glynn. He was my brother in-law but when I was younger he was my best friend. He was always there when I needed him if it was to fix my car, give me a ride, or listen to me cry. The time didn’t matter, day or night, he was there. I hope everyone has a friend like I had with Glynn. Fly with the angels my friend, you will never be forgotten.
