Grace K. Omolade, age 85, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Born in Nigeria on April 25, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Dare and Alice Adegboyega. Grace made her career as a licensed practical nurse until her retirement.
Grace loved to cook for her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to the Bible online and solving Bible quizzes.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Omolade. She is survived by her children, David Omolade (Bimpe), Samuel Omolade, and Elizabeth Omolade-Ige (Olubunmi); and sisters, Aderinola Olaleye and Mary Oladele.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Redeemed Christian Church of God, 1000 Columbia Avenue, Linwood, PA, where a funeral service will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery, 3300 Lancaster Pike, Wilmington, DE.
