  • Diane and family, sincere condolences on the passing of “Campy”. It was an honor to know him all these many years. He was a true and faithful community servant and will be sorely missed.

  • So sorry about your father

  • Diane and family. My deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. May God bring each of you comfort and strength during this time. I remember Guido growing up, he was a good man. Gail I wish I were still in Delaware to pay my respects. Know that each of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Paradise Mr Camponelli.

  • So sorry to hear of my Uncle Pat’s passing. I spent many a summer at the Basel family farm working with Uncle Pat and the Camponelli clan. He was unstoppable and strong as an ox no matter what the chore. It was so hard to see him in latter years, facing adversity with pride and never losing his sense of humor. We will be praying for Uncle Pat and the entire family.

  • Keeping you and your family in our prayers.

  • Diane and family condolences to you all, Campy was my favorite and he always said I was his favorite. Prayers to all, may he RIP

  • He was my life
    He was my soul
He was my Pops who had to go
He was ill with no cure
Whose heart gave up and wasn’t sure
Why he left me in this world
With no one to talk to
    Not even to hold
    Now that he’s gone
    I sit here and cry
Waiting for him to say my last goodbye

  • Campy’s Family,
I don’t have to tell you what a wonderful person and great American Campy was.
The entire City of New Castle benefited from his volunteer service. Whether as a firefighter or volunteer with the New Castle Police Department, Campy was always giving 100% and never asked for anything in return.
I am a better person for having him in my life and in the service of NCPD.
It is with deep sorrow that I tell you that I will not be able to attend the services.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
    Kevin

  • Dear Dino, Michele, and Jacqueline,
Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Please take care. Mary Ann Mackie
