So sorry to hear of my Uncle Pat’s passing. I spent many a summer at the Basel family farm working with Uncle Pat and the Camponelli clan. He was unstoppable and strong as an ox no matter what the chore. It was so hard to see him in latter years, facing adversity with pride and never losing his sense of humor. We will be praying for Uncle Pat and the entire family.

He was my life
He was my soul
He was my Pops who had to go
He was ill with no cure
Whose heart gave up and wasn’t sure
Why he left me in this world
With no one to talk to
Not even to hold
Now that he’s gone
I sit here and cry
Waiting for him to say my last goodbye
Camponelli family
Thank you Randy And for all your help during this time

Campy’s Family,
I don’t have to tell you what a wonderful person and great American Campy was.
The entire City of New Castle benefited from his volunteer service. Whether as a firefighter or volunteer with the New Castle Police Department, Campy was always giving 100% and never asked for anything in return.
I am a better person for having him in my life and in the service of NCPD.
It is with deep sorrow that I tell you that I will not be able to attend the services.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Kevin
