Harriet Edna Bradley, age 96, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Born in Bowers Beach, DE on September 1, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Harry Spayd and Edna (Palmer) Morrison. Harriet worked as a supervisor of manufacturing at LD Caulk Co. She enjoyed cooking and watching classic movies. In her younger years she liked to travel and got to visit many different places including Hawaii. As a woman of faith, she was a member of the Frederica UMC, belonged to the United Methodist Women, and enjoyed reading her Bible and other devotionals.

In addition to her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles W. Porter, Sr.; second husband, Francis Bradley; son, Charles W. Porter, Jr.; sister, Betty Lodholtz; grandson-in-law, Kristopher Kunkle; and daughter-in-law, Maureen Porter. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Porter (Gail), Robert Porter, and David Porter; daughter-in-law, Teressa Porter; grandchildren, Kimberly, Sherry, Christa, Yvonne, Amy, Danny, Justin, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Danyelle, Jason, Logan, Mason, Mattie, Lucas, Nathan, and Jordan; and great-great-grandchildren, Mia, Scarlet, Nathan, Grace, and Asher.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held at 2 pm in Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery, 6362 Bay Road, Frederica, DE.
