Harry Cornelius Latch II, age 57, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE on March 29, 1965, he was the son of Helen (Klotz) and the late Harry C. Latch. Harry was a dedicated iron worker at Ironworkers Local 451.

Harry, often referred to as the best shortstop, enjoyed playing softball with his friends on Sundays. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Harry also enjoyed the outdoors with hobbies including hunting and fishing. Above all else, his children were his pride and joy.

In addition to his father, Harry was preceded in death by his sister, Debra. He is survived by his son, Harry E. Latch; his daughter, Haley E. Latch; his sisters, Jean Fenimore, Cheri Snider, and Terri-jo Wise (Keith); many supportive nieces, nephews, and friends; and his loyal yellow lab, Chevy.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 12 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will be held at 12 pm. Interment will be held privately.
