Ingeborg R. Dillon, age 89, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Born in Esslingen, Germany, on November 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Adolf Reicherzer and Elise P. (Loeffler) Fritsche. Ingeborg was a talented homemaker, dedicating her life to taking care of her family.

In her spare time, Ingeborg enjoyed bowling and crocheting beautiful pieces for her family and friends. Her greatest treasure in life was her family, cherishing every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ingeborg was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward J. Dillon; sons, Michael Dillon and Stephen Dillon; siblings, Ilse Haegle and Herbert Reicherzer; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Rodick; and great-grandson, Jacob Kane Kuzma. She is survived by her children, Gisela Hemminger of Esslingen, Germany, Rose Dass (Richard) of Dover, Robert Dillon of Shamokin, PA, Regina Rodick of Bel Air, MD, Denise Reedy (Glenn) of Newark, and Diana Yale of Elkton, MD; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will follow in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
