2 Condolences for Jacquelyn Lee “Jackie” Goodwin

  • I was saddened this morning to read in the News-Journal of Jackie’s passing. We worked together in the Development Office at UD for many years. They were truly wonderful years, filled with fabulous memories. She made me a better staff member! My circumstances will not permit me to attend the visitation nor the funeral for which I am truly sorry as I would like to have expressed my sympathy in person to Rob. Do know that I hold you all in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, John Clayton.

  • So sorry to hear as I just found out today. My heart goes out to all her children. At one time I was neighbor of the Goodwin family in Prestwick Farms. Jackie and I went to many football games at Newark High to support our girls which were in the Newark High School band. It was so cold at some of the games, Jackie would bring rum tea to keep us warm in a thermos. We did a lot of traveling together with the band. Unfortunately I moved to Md. and lost touch with her. My sympathy to her family.
