Janice Marie “Pearl” (Fulton) Carter

Janice Marie “Pearl” (Fulton) Carter, age 85, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on November 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alvin L. and Gladys R. (Biddle) Fulton. Janice was a production line worker for General Electric Co. for 10 years, retiring in 1982.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. “Buzz” Carter and brother-in-law James Williams. She is survived by her sister, Mary A. Williams of Newark; brother, Alvin Corbit Fulton (Bonnie) of Middletown; nieces: Lisa Williams Mullins (Tim) and Jennifer Fulton, nephews: James Williams (Elisa), Corby Fulton (Heather), and Gene Biddle, great-nieces/nephews: Kasey Bonk, James Williams, Joseph Williams, Brandon Mullins (Bailey), Jordon Mullins, and Logan Fulton: Great-great niece/nephew Eisley and Ronan Mullins and many friends.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting with friends and joining holiday celebrations. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. Janice was always willing to crochet a beautiful afghan and other crocheted items for family and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 am. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance not immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE.
