Jean F. Reynolds

Jean F. Reynolds, age 91, of New Castle, Delaware passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Jean was born in Portland, Maine on November 2, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John and Edna (Ellis) MacWilliam. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law and friend, who will be dearly missed.
Jean’s happiest moments were spent with her family at gatherings and on her trips to Myrtle Beach to play golf. She enjoyed upholstery, knitting, and spending hours with a good book. One of her greatest passions was her love of dogs that brought her endless happiness throughout her life.
In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, William (Bill) W. Reynolds, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Kendall Weyl (Lloyd), Karen Lister (Jim); son, Bill Reynolds (Sharon); grandchildren, Erica (Matt), Mike (Cheryl), Jimmy (Megan), Ashley (Nick), Jon (BB), Billy (Leslie), Nikki (Eddie), Sara (Nick) and Zach (Sheryl); and great-grandchildren, Bri, Alana, Nadalie, Alivia, Nathan, Addie, Avagail, Beckett, Benjamin, Brendon, Ellie, Addison, Ellison, Keeley, Ryan, Maeve, Mila, Brynn, Lainey, Everett, Easton, Emelia.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
