Jerry Lee Nastoga, age 54, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 3, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, DE on June 23, 1969, he was a son of Merlene (Godbehere) Nastoga and the late Lester Nastoga, Sr. Jerry attended Howard Vo-Tech and Delcastle Technical High School where he received his Journeyman’s Certificate. He went on to work for IBEW 313 for more than 20 years.

Jerry had a passion for sports, as a child he spent countless hours playing baseball and football. He loved the San Francisco 49ers and never missed a chance to cheer them on. Jerry also enjoyed watching WWE and NASCAR or going for a ride on his motorcycle. He had a huge heart for animals, especially his boxers and his snakes. Above all, Jerry loved his family and was extremely proud of all of his children.

In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Keblen. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie (McCann) Nastoga; mother, Merlene (Godbehere) Nastoga; children, Katie Robinson (Joe) and Nicholas Nastoga; stepchildren, John McCann (Jaymie), Jennifer Dugan (Jeff), Emily White, and Robert White; many grandchildren; and his beloved boxers, Dora and Jax.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately.
