Jo-Ell Meekins

Jo-Ell Meekins, age 40, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Born in Elkton, MD on December 7, 1983, she was a daughter of Martha Lee (Unruh) McDowell and the late Larry McDowell. Jo-Ell attended Middletown High School. An avid equestrian, she worked at several horse farms in the area. During the summer, Jo-Ell enjoyed visiting the beach with her family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie McDowell. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Taylor Heverin, Peyton Alfree and Lincoln Alfree; sister, Stephanie Money; and several nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately.
