Joanne M. (Cousineau) Triance
November 18, 1955 - November 14, 2024
Joanne M. (Cousineau) Triance, age 68, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
Born in Wilmington, DE on November 18, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Edith (Ferrazzo) Cousineau. Joanne made her career as an administrative assistant at DuPont Co. for over 30 years.
Deep in her faith, Joanne was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, and also taught Sunday School. She enjoyed giving back to her community as a life member and vice president of Wilmington Manor Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary. In her spare time, Joanne loved scrapbooking. Most of all, she cherished the memoires she made playing with her granddaughters. Joanne will always be remembered for having a smile on her face and her generous, caring heart for anyone in need.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Triance, Jr.; and sister, Debbie Cousineau. She is survived by her daughter, Jenifer L. Parsons (Edward); granddaughters, Jennifer Mae Marie Bailey and Annabelle Naomi Bailey; brother, Edward Cousineau (Pauline); nieces, Emily Heggan (Justin), Heidi Cousineau, Joanna Cousineau (Cristian), and Jessica Cousineau (Kevin); and great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9 am until 11 am on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, 801 North DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, DE.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joanne’s memory to Wilmington Manor Fire Company, Ladies Auxiliary, P.O. Box 645, New Castle, DE 19720.

Joanne and I first met at Our Lady of Fatima grade school. Lost touch after graduating but had the pleasure of reuniting and catching up at our 50th class reunion from WPH last fall. I feel blessed to have had that time. Joanne was as nice as I remembered her back all those years at OLF. My sincere condolences to her family. God Bless

My dearest sweet Joanne,
You were the nicest auxiliary sister ever. Never missed saying hello and talking about your daughter and grand babies. She had so much love in her and she made people smile because she loved people. Rest in heaven you earned your wings, so we know you are in heaven. Bless her soul one day we will be with you again. What a wonderful volunteer you were. Love and will miss you! Jane Williams.
