John Richard Bell, Jr., age 71, of Townsend, DE, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

Born in Crisfield, MD on January 23, 1953, he was a son of the late John Richard Bell, Sr. and Winnie Faye (Swift) Bell. John was a graduate of Andover High School in Lithicum, MD. Following graduation, he went to work at NSA and then worked for various IT companies including BNY Mellon.

John was a loving and kind man who always welcomed friends and family into his home. He treasured family and friends gathering around the kitchen table in prayer, in fellowship and in laughter. He was an active member of his church, the Good Shepherd Baptist Church. He brought faith, strength and laughter into the lives of all he met.
