John W. Jackson, age 42, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Born in Salem, NJ on March 26, 1983, he was a son of Donald and Donna (McCarty) Jackson. John made his career as an electrician.

John loved to spend football Sunday’s cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He enjoyed spending his free time working out at the gym. John was always happy to stumble upon a three- or four-leaf clover, which he also had tattoos of. He could often be found riding horses or bowling with his kids. John will always be remembered as a devoted father to his children.

John is survived by his children, Grace Jackson and Johnathan Jackson; parents, Donald and Donna Jackson; brothers, Jason Jackson and Zak Jackson; uncles, Dean McCarty and Glenn McCarty; nephew, Shane Jackson; niece, April Jackson; maternal grandmother, Beverly Wright; companion, Devyn Brohawn, and her daughter, Aryana Miller; and his beloved dog, Tink.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am. Inurnment will be held privately.
