Born in Battle Creek, MI on June 21, 1963, he was a son of Jessie L. (Garcia) Reinholz and the late James M. Redwood, Jr. Johnny worked for Value City in the warehouse.
An avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, Johnny was thrilled when they won Superbowl LII. He had a love of his family and his faithful companion, “Mama.” Johnny regularly attended NA meetings, but he found the most comfort in riding his Harley to the beach.
In addition to his father, Johnny was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford “Kippy” Redwood. He is survived by his mother, Jessie L. (Garcia) Reinholz and step-father, John E. Reinholz, of Clayton; son, Jacob Michael Redwood of FL; siblings, Debi Redwood of ME, James M. Redwood III of MI, Teresa M. York (Ray) of Middletown and Melissa Kaminski (Chris) of Clayton. He was loved by many nieces and nephews as well.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday, June 7, 2019, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 22 North Union Street, Smyrna, DE. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Johnny’s memory to Narcotics Anonymous at NA World Services, PO Box 9999, Van Nuys, CA 91409.
