Jonathan Ryan David Anker, born November 7, 1994 in Washington D.C. passed away on April 19, 2026. He is survived by his wife Allie Cavoto, his father Andrew Anker, and his siblings Court and Katherine Anker, his nephews David and Winston and his niece Aria. He was the beloved child of Andrew and the late Laura Penny.

As a child, Jon was a Boy Scout and played competitive sports from a young age, alongside Court and excelled in football and basketball. Jon was an animal lover growing up with many dogs and cats. When he was 7, he became the middle child and big brother to Katherine, a role he took very seriously.

As an adult, he took up weightlifting and loved to travel. Jon excelled as a security software sales exec. He loved the Knicks and Cubs, just like his dad.

He lived in Philadelphia with his wonderful wife Allie and his best friend cat Sosa. Jon loved Allie so much. His eyes lit up any time they were together.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 12 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA.

  • Kat, Allie and Andrew, I am so sorry for your loss. I only met Jon a few times, but I know how much he was loved by you. It is never easy to lose a loved one and I know it is especially difficult for you so soon after Laura. I will keep you in my prayers and heart.
