Judith Ann (Buchy) “Judy” Wilbank

Judith Ann (Buchy) “Judy” Wilbank, age 81, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Edward Thomas and Celia Aldan (Wootten) Buchy. Judy spent her career working as an administrator in the medical and banking fields. She retired from Kmart in 1987 after 15 years working as an office manager.
Deep in her faith, Judy was quite active in several groups devoted to strengthening her relationship with the Lord, including the St. Thomas the Apostle Columbiettes and Sisters of St. Joseph Associates. Judy was also a member of the St. Helena’s Church of Ministries. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization for women who are decedents of a patriot that served in the American Revolution working to teach American history.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Wilbank. She is survived by her children, Karen Reiss (Edward) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Susan Pascoe of Middletown, and Linda Pavina (Edward) of Middletown; her loving companion, Ed Bush; sister, Cecilia Horn of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren, Edward Allen Reiss, Jr., Joshua Forrest Reiss (Dana), Justtin Reiss (Kristina), James McEntee Pascoe III (Kasey), Celia Marie Gagnon (Grant), and Edward John Pavina III; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Justtin, Oliver, Makenzie, Felix, Emmet, and James.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at St. Joseph Parish, 319 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy’s memory to a Catholic charity of the donor’s choice.
