Kenneth C. “Ken” Falk
November 15, 1942 - November 28, 2023
Kenneth C. “Ken” Falk, age 81, of Middletown, DE, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Born in East Orange, NJ, on November 15, 1942, he was a son of the late Howard H. Falk and Charlotte (Kluth) Heyse. Ken was a proud alumnus of Rutgers University and Montclair State University, where he earned his Master’s degree. He worked as an Information Systems Project Manager at IBM for 30 years until his retirement.
A true outdoorsman, Ken could always be found enjoying nature. He loved to go hiking, camping, biking, and kayaking. During the summer, Ken always looked forward to relaxing at the Jersey Shore and visiting the Pine Barrens. An avid sports fan, Ken loved cheering on his beloved New York teams: the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers. He was also a fan of Rutgers football, UConn basketball, and any team loved by his children and grandchildren. In his free time, Ken liked to read, do puzzles, and trace his family history and genealogy. Above all, his most cherished memories were made with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his beloved son, Andrew K. Falk. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Jarlath A. (Faherty) Falk; daughters, Jessica Falk-Spencer (Andy), Courtney (Falk) Peters (Jason), Caitlin Falk, and Eileen Falk (Bryan Siwik); grandchildren, Maxine Spencer, Jack Spencer, Molly Spencer, Scarlet Peters, Aaron Peters, Owen Peters, Emilia Siwik, and Finnley Siwik; brother, Robert Falk; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 am until 1 pm on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 1 pm.
