Dear Kev,
Well you fought your good fight against the ugly disease that has plagued our world for decades. Your healing wasn’t to be this side of the planet as hard as you tried to stay with us. I invited you often to come to church , you would say you would but never did. So what little I knew of you on social media one thing that I took a liking to you was your passion for fishing. My Dad had the same love as you did, something you both shared in common and when you would post your catch it reminded me of my Dad and all his countless days casting the reel. Death is something we all have to face, because we were never ment to stay this side forever. I’m grateful your physical pain is no longer, but oh how I’m sure the emotional pain your family friends will experience without you now will never fully heal. Since we never had the chance to sit together in church, save me a seat where death is no more.

I met Kevin when I interviewed for a job at City Electric. He told me that very day that he would not expect me to perform any duties that he wouldn’t do himself. That’s who Kev was – a very fair and down to earth guy. He presented himself like a friend instead of my boss and that made our work environment enjoyable. Kevin was the same everyday. Even when he fell ill his attitude never wavered. That alone speaks volumes about his character. We were so looking forward to Kevin winning his battle and coming back to work but, I guess God had a better plan for him. Your presence will be missed. Sleep in peace.

I met Kevin when I came to an interview for a position at city Electric supply. He seemed a very jovial individual. I knew I would like him straight away because of his pleasant manner. As the months passed, i found him to be a great boss, who didnt lose his temper much, and the admiration and respect that the customers and clients showed him, spoke volumes.
He liked my parents as well, and they like him, my mother made him treats.
I will miss him and think of him every time I hear the Kansas City Chiefs fight song, or see his son Zach in the store. God bless you Kevin and may you find peace now.
