Linda J. (Miller) Watson, age 59, of Seaford, DE, and formerly of Delaware City, DE, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Born in Wilmington on January 22, 1958, she was a daughter of the late James E. Miller and Carolyn (Dinsmore) Miller. Linda retired from Acosta, where she worked as a merchandiser.
In her leisure time, Linda enjoyed taking trips to Rehoboth Beach, being on the water and cheering on her favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks. She loved flamingos and spending time with her granddaughter.
In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Alice Dinsmore and stepdaughters, Shenita and Teresa Watson. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Paul W. Watson; mother, Carolyn (Dinsmore) Miller; children, Robert Keith Miller (Frances) and Ericka R. Watson; stephchildren, Carolyn O. Watson, Paulette V. Watson, Paul Corbin, Jr. and Todd Armstrong; sisters, Susan Nemetz (Bill), Pat Michael (Jim), Peggy Miller (Buff), and Alice Miller; grandchildren, Lilly Grace Miller and Colin Mettle; nieces, Erin Miller and Shalyn Johnson; and best friend, Karen Reyes.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 7 pm on Thursday evening, November 16, 2017, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle, DE, where a Celebration of Life will begin at 7 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Food Bank of Delaware, 14 Garfield Way, Newark, DE 19713.

Ericka my Condolences goes out to you and your family in this time of sorrow….She is free and out of pain…She is your guardian angel watching over you… When it’s raining it is her teardrops from Heaven dropping down on your face. She was a wonderful person always had a smile on her face,,,she will be missed by many.
We knew each other through a common friend, Joanie. (RIP). The partying in DC and Georgetown Apts on 273 were some of the highlights of that time frame. And now you will see our sweet Joanie again. RIP Linda, we had a few laughs back in the day.

I’m sorry to hear about your lost and pain and wanted to share the Bible’s hope of a resurrection at John 5:28,29 at a time when there is no more sickness , pain or death according to Revelation 21:3,4. May the god of comfort give you comfort by means of the scriptures in this time of bereavement.

Gone but never forgotten. That’s what’s they all say. You definitely won’t be forgotten but I️ can’t believe you aren’t here with us anymore. I’m so honored to have you as my Auntie your daughter in my life as my cousin but more like a sister. Because she’s apart of you, I️ promise to always be by her side. Please protect us while we are down here living in this so called world. I️ can never fill E’s void of missing you but I’ll always have her back! It won’t be easy going on without you here but I️ promise we will make it through. We’ll continue making you proud and making you smile. Thanks for the good times and laughs by being around you.
